THIS IS AWESOME.

Crisis Of Conformity is the fake band from THIS SNL SKETCH. And they actually released a 7” record of the song.

The song they play is FIST FIGHT. It was FRED ARMISEN singing, Ashton Kutcher “playing” guitar, Bill Hader on bass, and Dave Grohl on drums.

the only place on this record that leads to this being a fake band is on the etching on the inside of the record where it says Armisens name.

It was also recorded by Brendan Canty (of FUGAZI)

and Ian Mackaye is on the thanks list.

and it was released by DRAG CITY.
